The Biggest Benefit of Working

As a newlywed, I suddenly became faced with the challenge of finding affordable health insurance for myself and my new family. Although both my husband and I are employed by separate companies, we chose my company’s health insurance plan to cover me, my husband and my stepdaughter. Thankfully we went with my plan as my husband just lost his job. Although I would like to find another job I hesitate because of our need to keep medical insurance. To me, having good health insurance is the biggest benefit of a job. In these times it is a benefit that cannot always be easily replaced and one which we necessarily depend on.
