Radio Advertising Is Effective

Voice over work for marketing agencies are only going to increase – even with this recession. Here’s why…
Radio ads are short (and therefore relatively cheap to produce), but incredibly effective with the incorporation of catchy tunes or phrases to help the consumer remember the product.
Adverts played during the morning and afternoon rush hours tend to have the greatest levels of success because this is the time when the majority of the consumers are in their cars listening to the radio.
So sponsorships are more often used with radio as most programs are sponsored by a company. The sponsoring company will be mentioned a certain number of times during a program in return for their financial sponsorship.
