Investing vs. Trading for a Living

Often, the word investing is used frequently when discussing the concept of trading for a living. This is a common error people make since the word investing is more frequently employed when discussing monetary transactions on the market. However, trading is not investing. Investing refers to the ability to hold onto a stock or other investment for an extended period of time to allow its value to grow. Trading refers to the rapid buying and selling of an investment within the same day. The purpose with trading is to make a quick – and high – profit. As such, those looking for a riskier and more dynamic way of making their money work for them should explores trading ventures.
