Good Carbs

I read a book that listed foods that lower your risk of diabetics. Since American’s are more at risk than other countries due mainly to fast food and our love of sugar, I decided to education myself on nutrition. You even have to be careful in the diet plans you select like Medifast. You would be amazed at what I found out and not so amazed. The best type of carbonhydrates include barley, popcorn, dried beans, fresh fruits (not canned), and oatmeal. The worst carbonhydrates are potatoes (that includes french fries), white bread, white rice, sweetened fruit drinks, sodas, and raisins. The carbs that are okay in moderation include bananas and apple juice.
