Bush’s No Child Left Behind

Many schools of thought agree with the no child left behind program but many teacher strongly disagree with the method used to determine if our chiildren are recieving the education they deserve. That method is testing and more testing. As a matter of fact, they give you two or three times to take a test and past it. As a former teacher, I do not see how this proves that our children are ready to be valuable citizens. I was always a good test taker so I could past any test if I could get into the heads of the test makers but some of us including children do better at writing our thoughts about a subject instead of filling in a bubble.
