Today i saw a man climbing a lampost. Last time i saw that, the children ran from the village shouting "Agua moose! Moose agua!" as the Agua Moose Man entered the village. What reminds you of the Agua Moose?
you lol
My friend has never been out of the country and I thought a cool trip would be to spend a couple of nights in a US border town and a couple of nights or day trips in a Mexican town.
I have heard negatixe things about Juarez and Tijuana though.
Anyplace with a nice plaza, colonial arquitecture–artesanias, a good mercado, that kind of stuff!
I’ve been through both Nogales and Nuevo Laredo, and the time it took to drive through them was more than enough. There may be nice areas, but everything that I saw was very poor and dangerous looking. As others have said, the border towns have become a battleground for the drug runners and the police/military, and I would not recommend spending very much time in them.
Another thing to keep in mind is the amount of time it takes to cross back into the US. It took close to 2 hours crossing into Laredo when I was there, and and Nogales was probably at least 3 the last time I was there. You aren’t going to be able to take a quick day trip across and have enough time in a single day. I would recommend driving a few hours south and spending time in a decent Mexican city, it will be worth the extra drive time. Hermosillo is only 3 or 4 hrs south of Nogales, and Monterrey is a good option south of Laredo.

I searched for some over the internet, and looking at the pictures and recipe they look like they will be really watery.
But every time that I have ever had agua fresa its always thicker, and never so red. Its always a pink color, maybe they use milk?
in fact any good agua recipes would be great
expcet horchata, im alergic to cinnamon.
"Auga" translates to "Water" so yes, it will be "watery".
"Fresh fruit waters, or Aguas de Frutas, made with crushed or blended fruit are a common and popular drink all over Mexico. This recipe is extremely flavorful and refreshing, especially when fresh strawberries are in season."
Ingredients:
4 cups strawberries, sliced
1 cup white sugar
8 cups cold water 1 lime, cut into 8 wedges (optional)
8 fresh mint sprigs (optional)
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, mix together sliced strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
2. Remove the strawberry mixture from the refrigerator and pour into a blender. Blend on high until smooth. Pour the blended berry mixture through a wire mesh strainer set over a large mixing bowl; discard the pulp and seeds.
3. Add the remaining 7 cups cold water to the pureed strawberries and mix well. Place the Aqua de Fresa in the refrigerator to chill for several hours or pour over ice and serve immediately. Garnish with lime slices or mint leaves.

I would say yes, since the English translation, "Like Water for Chocolate," is readily available as a back-up reference if certain passages in Spanish are too difficult to interpret.

This is a freshly made juice drink often for sale in Mexico. It seems to have ice, water, fruit, milk …? It’s watery and fresh – not thick like a milkshake. Does anyone know how to make this?
Mix the strawberries with cream and freeze them and then stir them up in a blender. Add milk with frozen fruit and freeze it for 7 hours, then add the water to the top and put it in the fridge til it’s harder.
