Yes, they are in different leagues. I agree on this.
As for Italians, they have a very specific style: some love it, some hate it. It’s not only their music – it’s everything. And believe me, I’m not their biggest fan. At all.

Saying that Mina is …
Saying that Mina is Kaka or better Cacca, aka , is unrespectful for Mina first as woman and then as a great singer. Mina in “acqua di marzo” gives an amazing interpretation, but Elis in this song is superior. Elis has the necessary sadness and shyness to make her interpretation an unique masterpiece. Mina is a great singer but she cant touch in this song Elis when she timidly smiles and sings at the end of this song.

It was a TV program …
It was a TV program recorded by TV Cultura (1973) and released in DVD about 5 years ago. As far as I know there’s no CD with this version.
