What does "En esa agua no me voy a meter" mean?

its spanish. does it mean "im not going to go into this water"??

btw what does "meter" mean?

Literally "I’m not getting into that water" – in other words – "I’m not going to get involved in that" or "I’m not even going to go there.."

"Meter" means to "put in", or "to insert"; meterme – to put myself into = to get into
